Review | Korres Jasmine Lip Butter
I absolutely love myself some good lip products and I certainly am obsessed with anything that will hydrate and condition my lips to perfection or at least for the time being until whatever product I slapped on disappears from my lips. We all want to find that great lip product that will help alleviate a lot of our problems with our lips whether it be being chapped, dry, dehydrated, and god forbid it being flaky which is a no-no for many of us. Surely, I've seen many people with that sort of problem and sometimes I just want to pull out my lip products and just tell them "just take it, take it, you need it more than I do !", well that would just be blatantly rude, but hey, I'm just helping out a sistah or brotha, lol
One of my most favorite lip product would have to be the highly hyped all over the blog-o-sphere, but surly one that should not be passed on would have to be the Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine. I have used this for almost a year and I seem to go back to it because it simply just hydrates my lips and it smooths over any dry patches and makes them look healthy and supple, but it also has a touch of tint; a light wash of a nudish pinky tone that just looks natural. I adore the scent as well it has a mixture of a fruity floral. It is formulated with natural ingredients and they kick out a lot of the chemicals not good for your body such as parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs, triclosan.
It has natural oils and extracts that condition the lips, but it also has shea butter and rice wax that makes it last a long time which it gives it more of a thick consistency, but it smooths on nicely. Its great because it will adhere to the lips better. The only down sides to it is that packaging, I'm not a huge fan of potted lip products because using my fingers isn't very sanitary, especially if you wanted to reapply it during the day, but if it works than I can definitely live with it being in a pot. Plus it does not have any SPF in it, so you have to take that into consideration if your going to be in the sun because your lips do need sun protection. If you are looking to try something that will help sort out any lip dilemmas then try this out. Don't fancy the Jasmine color? then don't fret because there are loads of other colors to choose from, there is a clear one called Guava, and if you want something bold that almost looks like a stain try out Wild Rose. This is a product for me that has garnered a spot on my bedside table.
Let me know if you tried the Korres Lip Butters in the comments, do you like it? or do you despise it?
